Ownership and Management
CBE is owned by Daniel J Longsdorf, a Licensed General Contractor, working in the built-green industry for over 20 years.
Daniel is passionate about clean energy and enthusiastic about the potential that the Colorado climate provides for solar energy growth.
Daniel J started his career in heavy construction, high rises, heavy civil, Dams and Highways. Building dams with hydro turbine generators have been an inspiration as Daniel designed and built his first hydro turbine model as a teenager using the concept of a farm pond as the supply.
Daniel is truly a forward thinker and the best asset that Clear Blue Energy possesses. As a "Built-Green" custom builder designing and building efficient homes, Daniel was building green when it was not the "in" thing to do. Many of his colleagues had some nick-names for him, like "tree hugger", "greenie weenie", etc.
Daniel is a member of Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) , Project Management Institute (PMI), and the American Solar Energy Society (ASES).
Electrical Contractor
Doug Lemirande. is an electrician with over 25 years experience, 15 of which was spent operating his own company. Doug brings years of commercial and residential trouble shooting experience to the table. He has a diversified knowledge base of the workings of electricity.
Doug knows how electricity is produced today, and why we have the need to produce it in a cleaner and greener way for our children and grand children.
Marketing Consultant
Our marketing and advertising is handled by Jon Camrud, an advertising, internet marketing, graphic design and website design consultant. At 14 years in business, his company, Camrud Design Inc., is one of Denver's longest consecutively operated independent graphic design companies.
Jon's capabilities include website design, with an emphasis on search engine optimization, advertising and marketing. He has helped many start up companies with limited budgets develop a strong brand that gives them credibility in the marketplace.
Camrud Design created the logo, branding, website and all the advertising for CBE to date. Jon continues to advise 'Clear Blue' on a daily basis of the latest internet marketing methods that can be utilized, and is a minority investor as well.
